The Zimbabwe Republic Police has reportedly arrested 2 men 20KMs out of Chivhu who are believed to be the ones who shot and killed one soldier and seriously injured another before disarming them and running away with the soldiers’ rifles and 4 magazines with 30 bullets each, The Herald reports. The publication posted a short update on the case which stated that:
Two assailants believed to have shot two Zimbabwe National Army officers in Chivhu on Saturday have been arrested about 20 kilometres from Chivhu Central Business District.
The identities of the gunmen have not yet been made public, we will update this article as new details emerge.
