Africa-Press – Zimbabwe. APOLOGY TO DR HILLARY JEPHAT MUSARURWA
We want to apologise to Dr Hillary Jephat Musarurwa for using his Twitter post “out of context.” The Tweet was posted four days ago.
In our recent article titled: “It’s Not Necessary To Do More Than 3 Subjects At A Level” – Dr Musarurwa, we quoted him as saying it is not necessary for learners to do more than three (3) subjects at Advanced Level (A-Level). We used his Twitter post which read:
I have always argued that it’s not necessary to do more than 3 subjects at A Level. May the kids be correctly advised on the right combination and number of subjects to take.
The article was published after a form six student, Tadiwanashe Mavetera, scored 50 points (10 As) in the November 2022 Zimbabwe School Examinations Council (ZIMSEC) examinations.
