The striking doctors have listed 10 issues of concern in the running of Public Hospitals and they include:<\/p>\n

  1. The doctors\u2019 salaries are eroded by inflation and the government is not adjusting their salaries to match the rising cost of living.<\/li>\n
  2. The Govt is not paying UZ Clinicians their clinical allowances<\/li>\n
  3. The currently proposed partnership between doctors and private partners is subject to corruption and it disadvantages patients<\/li>\n
  4. Lack of equipment, drugs and broken or obsolete equipment<\/li>\n
  5. ICU patients admission capacity reduction<\/li>\n
  6. Standard Hospital procedures being replaced with dangerous experiments<\/li>\n
  7. Micromanagement of hospitals<\/li>\n
  8. Faulty referral systems<\/li>\n
