\u201cWe are exploring opportunities and new markets to sell our products,\u201d De Pretto said in an email to Rapaport News Monday. \u201cThe key international markets [where] most producers are selling their goods are Antwerp, Dubai, India and Singapore,\u201d he added, without providing details on where or when the sales would take place.<\/p>\n
Zimbabwe\u2019s diamond industry is centered on the Marange fields in Chiadzwa. ZCDC expects to produce 3.1 million carats this year, 24% lower than the 4.1 million carats it previously predicted, according to Bloomberg.
