Kaizer Chiefs coach Ernst Middendorp has confirmed Khama Billiat<\/a> will miss the weekend\u2019s game against Bloemfontein Celtic.<\/p>\n

The Zimbabwean winger aggravated his hamstring problem during last month\u2019s international break and has struggled to return to full fitness.<\/p>\n

Billiat, 29, returned to action in the 4-0 victory over Stellenbosch and featured for fifty minutes. Chiefs\u2019 medical team has recommended a two-week break for the player until the 22nd of December.<\/p>\n

Speaking at a media briefing on Thursday, Middendorp said: \u201cI\u2019m happy with this 50 minutes that he got against Stellenbosch\u201a and that we did not play him in Nelspruit\u201a where it would have been a disaster for him to play.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe three or four days more to the Wednesday game gave us a bit of time to reduce the tightness.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut now we have to be serious. The medical team are very clear \u2013 14 days on a specific programme\u201a coming back on December 14\u201a playing him probably in a test [friendly] game.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd then make a decision into December 22. I believe he can be ready for that game\u201a then have further treatment [in the Christmas break].\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
