We have water lets irrigate, we no longer have access to imports each nation has its challenges, its high time we strive to work extra harder because we have been given the opportunity to continue working,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Bindura South Legislator Honourable Remigious Matangira applauded government for the aid while calling upon society to support the vulnerable.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe didn\u2019t have good rains this year and now most of the members of our society have become idle, private sector and individuals have to come in handy with the little they have in store to assist,\u201d explained Karoro.<\/p>\n<p>Beneficiaries thanked the government for the swift intervention<br \/>\n\u201cWe are very grateful to the government for the lockdown had left us in a precarious situation when it comes to food,\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAlthough it\u2019s not enough it comes as a relief for the meantime,\u201d<br \/>\n\u201cWe appreciate this program, hoping it continues until the rainy season begins, \u201csaid some of the beneficiaries.<\/p>\n<p>Apart from the rural communities the vulnerable from high-density areas such as Chipadze and Chiwaridzo also benefited<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>FARMERS have been urged to scale up production so as to sustain livelihoods and the economy in the wake of limited options for importation due to COVID 19.
