The private sector continues to support humanitarian efforts by the First Lady and The Angel of Hope Foundation, to cushion vulnerable families against the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n
Ariston Holdings has become the latest corporate entity to chip in the First Lady\u2019s responsive work in assisting vulnerable groups and it comes at a time when Amai Mnangagwa and the Angel of Hope Foundation teams are conducting extensive work in rural communities across the country.<\/p>\n
The challenges that have come with the COVID-19 pandemic demand a joint approach in fighting the virus and it\u2019s less intended consequences such as food insecurity that has left many families exposed.<\/p>\n
On behalf of the First Lady, Angel of Hope Foundation Chairperson, Mrs Molly Dingane noted that such assistance from the private sector is pivotal in addressing the challenges faced by vulnerable communities.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis donation is in support of the extensive work being done by the Foundation which caters for vulnerable members of the society. I am glad to receive 1 tonne of tea to support the work of the Angel of Hope Foundation this winter season. This gift is well appreciated and I am grateful for your gesture in joining hands with us to touch lives.\u201d<\/p>\n
In the face of the COVID-19 adversity, rural communities have been left exposed to issues of food insecurity.<\/p>\n
To circumvent some of these challenges, the First Lady Amai Auxilia Mnangagwa has spearheaded relief initiatives targeting vulnerable families in rural societies.<\/p>\n
Such efforts continue to be boosted through partnering with the private sector.
