The government has started to incorporate traditional knowledge systems in an effort to find a cure for COVID-19, the respiratory disease caused by SARS-CoV-2, the novel coronavirus.<\/p>\n

This was said by Health and Child Care Minister Obadiah Moyo while presenting his Ministerial Update on Covid-19 in the National Assembly last week. He said:<\/p>\n

As part of our national strategy, we have started to incorporate traditional knowledge systems in our effort to finds a remedy to the pandemic with researches on the use of traditional herbs already underway.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
