Bulawayo City Council (BCC) is pleading with residents to accept the recycling of Khami Dam water as it works on alternative solutions to the city\u2019s water crisis.<\/p>\n

BCC Director of Engineering Services Engineer Simela Dube on Wednesday outlined how the city would benefit from using Khami Dam water.<\/p>\n

Eng Dube was making a presentation on the council\u2019s proposed plan to the Bulawayo water crisis committee meeting attended by stakeholders at the Large City Hall.<\/p>\n

He said the project will cost US$26 million and said council remains committed to providing quality water to residents.<\/p>\n

BCC acting Town Clerk Sikhangele Zhou urged stakeholders to be led by facts rather than emotions regarding the process of recycling Khami Dam water. She said:<\/p>\n
