Mutasa said:<\/p>\n<p>We tried to intervene, to offer ourselves for mediation in 2018, unfortunately, Dr Thokozani Khupe rejected that offer she uttered very strong words and messages to us.<\/p>\n<div class=\"G19R20lY\">\n<p>She didn\u2019t like any intervention any mediation, the other group of Advocate Chamisa had indicated that they were willing for us or someone to intervene. It didn\u2019t mean we were the ones who were going to mediate or intervene, we could have looked for eminent people to intervene, some people with wisdom<\/p>\n<p>Mutasa went on to say Khupe rejecting the mediation could mean she had another way of getting what she wanted eventually:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>What we concluded is that the other end, Khupe\u2019s camp was not interested in mediation and from what we are now seeing we think they understood they had other powers and other means to address their own crisis so we left it there,<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Khupe was made the interim MDC T leader by the court which reinstated the MDC T 2014 party structures.
