A few short months after the\u00a0Minister of Energy Fortune Chasi rehired Sydney Gata<\/a>, the ZESA board has suspended\u00a0corruption accused CEO Sydney Gata<\/a>\u00a0to pave way for investigations into allegations of corruption levelled against him.<\/p>\n

This was revealed by ZimLive on Twitter in a tweet that reads:<\/p>\n

Breaking News: Zesa board suspends Chief executive chairperson Sydney Gata pending investigations.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Gata was roped into a corruption storm rocking the power utility company last week and Energy Minister\u00a0Fortune Chasi is on record saying the allegations will be thoroughly investigated.<\/a><\/p>\n
