ZANU PF Youth League has urged the revolutionary party members to desist from wearing regalia on the 31st of July 2020.
\nActing Deputy National Secretary for Youth Affairs Tendai Chirau said the move has been neccesited by revelations that merchants of anarchy and terror have hatched a sinister plan of wearing Zanu PF regalia during the illegal demonstration.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt has come to the attention of our ever-vigilant ZANU PF youth league security department that the merchants of anarchy and terror have hatched a sinister false flag operation wherein they plan on wearing Zanu pf regalia during their planned demonic spree of looting and destruction, disguised as a demonstration, on the 31st of July 2020.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe evil plot is only meant to hoodwink unsuspecting citizens and demonise the name of the revolutionary party ZANU PF by creating a false image of some Zanu PF members participating in their heinous design, for the benefit of their handlers. We resoundingly condemn this cowardly plot and wish to remind all our enemies-domestic and foreign -that Zimbabwe has no vacancy at the statehouse outside due constitutional and democratic process,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Chirau said the league is in abject shock at the sheer desperation exhibited by the enemy.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe ponder at this stage what other ominous acts they have stage-managed in the past while using our regalia as a smokescreen. True Zanu pf members know too well that our regalia is scared and wearing it is never a licence to engage in criminal activities.<\/p>\n
