Sibanda said services provided by the council members would be voluntary.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Government will mobilise funding for operations of the presidential advisory council. Members will draw some honorarium, although the expectation is that their services are voluntary,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"f4c3113f-2381-ade2-55ce-e3bf6b654985\" class=\"article-widget article-widget-related_articles\">\n<div class=\"wrap\">\n<div class=\"related-container\" data-ids=\"[5396736721813504]\" data-style=\"image\">\n<div class=\"media clearfix\">\n<div class=\"media-left\">\n<div class=\"article-image\">\n<div id=\"0c8e5e2c-def7-713e-a900-9314cd171f98\" class=\"article-widget article-widget-text\">\n<div class=\"wrap\">\n<div class=\"text\">\n<p>Some of the notable persons appointed include Natalie Jabangwe, a telecoms executive at EcoCash, entrepreneur Shingi Munyeza, media owner and former owner of the Mail &amp; Guardian Trevor Ncube, chief executive of United Refineries\u00a0Busisa Moyo and managing director of Old Mutual&#8217;s CABS Simon Hammond.<\/p>\n<p>At least one of the appointees,\u00a0 Kenneth Mtata, the secretary-general of the Zimbabwe Council of Churches, said he was unavailable.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I feel really flattered to be invited to serve the nation and president in such a role.\u00a0 My current position will, however, limit effective functioning in such a huge role.
