The talented defender, who on Saturday celebrated his 21st birthday, made his senior international debut for the Warriors in a 3-1 defeat to Algeria on Thursday.<\/p>\n
He could again be involved against the same side, in an African Cup of Nations qualifier tomorrow.<\/p>\n
But, speaking with the club website last year, Zemura, who qualifies to play for Zimbabwe through his parents, insists his platform as a footballer at Cherries can help the next generation.<\/p>\n
He said: \u201cIf I could pull on the shirt and represent Zimbabwe then I\u2019d be thinking what I can achieve, how I can help and give another child in Zimbabwe the inspiration to see what can be done.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey\u2019re the next generation, and there is talent both there and in England with players who can represent Zimbabwe.<\/p>\n
\u201cBeing at Bournemouth is such a big platform for me, and I want to inspire people and see the country do really well.\u201d<\/p>\n
Zemura, formerly of Charlton, signed for Cherries at the end of the 2018-19 season after a successful trial period.<\/p>\n
Born in London, he has gone on to represent the first team twice this season, playing in Carabao Cup games against Crystal Palace and Manchester City.<\/p>\n
The defender also revealed how his family played a key role in his development.<\/p>\n
\u201cBefore games, my mum always sends me a text message which gets me in the right head shape,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
\u201cMy dad will send me over the night before what he wants me to do and concentrate on.<\/p>\n
\u201cThen I\u2019ll also have a lot of family members at home, watching everything on Twitter and following the game to see how I\u2019m doing.<\/p>\n
\u201cSince coming here (to Cherries) I\u2019ve seen that it\u2019s a massive family. It\u2019s not my first time moving away and living in digs but coming to Bournemouth is two or three hours away from home. The first people I lived with were so caring and lovely and made me feel at home.<\/p>\n
