The email read:<\/p>\n<p>Please be informed that FIFA has not been informed about the suspension of the ZIFA general-secretary Mr Joseph Mamutse. We have asked ZIFA for their position regarding the media reports.<\/p>\n<p>The SRC on Thursday suspended Mamutse from all football activities to pave way for an investigation into how a number of national football teams were cleared for foreign assignments, under questionable circumstances.<\/p>\n<p>The SRC has, however, not yet named the acting ZIFA chief executive officer.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Africa-Press &#8211; Zimbabwe.
