{"id":30773,"date":"2020-12-01T19:43:11","date_gmt":"2020-12-01T17:43:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.com\/zimbabwe\/all-news\/forex-auction-results-zim-dollar-slides-down-to-81-87"},"modified":"2020-12-01T19:43:11","modified_gmt":"2020-12-01T17:43:11","slug":"forex-auction-results-zim-dollar-slides-down-to-81-87","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.cc\/zimbabwe\/all-news\/forex-auction-results-zim-dollar-slides-down-to-81-87","title":{"rendered":"Forex Auction Results: Zim Dollar Slides Down To $81.87"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.africa-press.com\">Africa-Press<\/a> &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.africa-press.com\/zimbabwe\">Zimbabwe<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>Forex auction results for 01 December 2020 are in and the Zimbabwe dollar has continued it\u2019s \u201cdownward\u201d trend against the greenback.<\/p>\n<p>The weighted average this week has moved further south from ZWL$81.8151 last week to ZWL$81.8767 this week.<\/p>\n<p>US$33.34 million was allotted today compared to US$32.95m last week, with the bulk of the allotment (US$14.45 million) going to raw materials.<\/p>\n<p>23 bids on the Small to Medium enterprises forex auction were disqualified while 34 bids were also disqualified on the main forex auction.<\/p>\n<p>The Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (RBZ) said bids which were disqualified were not eligible in terms of the Priority List.<\/p>\n<p>Bids with overdue CDIs, outstanding Bills of Entry (BOEs) and those with sufficient FCA balances were also disqualified.<\/p>\n<p>Some bids were allotted on a pro-rata basis to conform with the Import Priority List, the RBZ said.<\/p>\n<p>See the table below:<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Africa-Press &#8211; Zimbabwe.
