Africa-Press<\/a> – Zimbabwe<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>Zimbabwean football fans expressed have mixed views on social media following President Emmerson Mnangagwa\u2019s meeting with France-based Warriors striker Tinotenda Kadewere.<\/p>\n

According to Soccer24, Kadewere, his wife Sharon, brothers Prosper and Pardon Kadewere met President Mnangagwa at State House on Wednesday evening.<\/p>\n

Some commentators drew a comparison of Kadewere\u2019s State House courtesy call with Arsenal striker Ozil\u2019s meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdo\u011fan which resulted in a backlash in his home country Germany. Ozil has a Turkish ancestry.<\/p>\n

Here are some of the views expressed by Zimbabweans on Facebook while responding to a post by Soccer24:<\/p>\n

As a public figure he has supporters from different political parties. It was better not to show his side.<\/p>\n

Zanu pf doesn\u2019t know how to separate party and government so if we see this we can come into conclusion that he joins Zanu pf.<\/p>\n

It is common cause that Garwe is a dictator his presidency is tainted.<\/p>\n

Tonderai Chamusingarevi:<\/b><\/p>\n

His football career had developed to another level, and his performances in Lyon colours have been awesome, but now the guy is soiling his reputation.<\/p>\n

Mdu Tshuma:<\/b><\/p>\n

Misguided priorities, Tinotenda Philani Kadewere just put his career on the line, best players in the world have been discarded by clubs that promote basic human rights, this was supposed to be done after career end, dining with the chief gukurahundist, basic human rights violator is the same as swimming in a crocodile river.<\/p>\n
