Africa-Press<\/a> – Zimbabwe<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>Zimbabwe saw its COVID-19 deadliest day as 60 people succumbed to the infamous COVID-19 virus yesterday. The development was communicated by the Ministry of Health which revealed that 36 of those people died in the Harare Province alone.<\/p>\n

The Ministry also stated that Matabeleland South and Mashonaland East did not record any COVID-19 death as it gave the following statistics:<\/p>\n

This brings the cumulative number of COVID-19 deaths, since the first COVID-19 death, that of Zororo Makamba, was recorded on 23 March 2020.<\/p>\n

The update also revealed that Harare Province remains the coronavirus\u2019s epicentre as 339 out of 689 positive cases recorded in Zimbabwe yesterday were registered in Harare.<\/p>\n

The update also stated that 0 PCR tests were done in 4 provinces but 183 new cases were recorded in the 4 provinces.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
