Africa-Press<\/a> – Zimbabwe<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>Nelson Chamisa the MDC Alliance leader is reportedly concerned with South Africa\u2019s President Cyril Ramaphosa\u2019s alleged \u201csee no evil hear no evil\u201d stance against President Mnangagwa and some of Africa\u2019s wayward peers, New Zimbabwe reports.<\/p>\n

Chamisa reportedly expressed his concern in a paper titled \u201cRigged Elections and The Rise of the Authoritarian Pandemic\u201d in which he pointed out Ramaphosa\u2019s failure during his tenure as the AU chair to censure authoritative leaders.<\/p>\n

The youthful opposition party leader reportedly said:<\/p>\n

The problem is counterparts that have a better culture of democracy, like South Africa, show an unhealthy reluctance to censure wayward peers. This is often done under the guise of brotherhood stemming from the liberation struggles<\/p>\n

This is deeply retrogressive because liberation without proper democracy is meaningless. Maturing and more stable democracies like South Africa should see their peers for what they truly are: reactionary elements that have subverted the essence of liberation of the African people.<\/p>\n

Ramaphosa however in 2020 send 2 delegations to come and talk to President Mnangagwa\u2019s administration when human rights abuses in Zimbabwe made international headlines.<\/p>\n
