Africa-Press<\/a> – Zimbabwe<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>Police have confirmed the arrest of a Greendale woman for allegedly having sexual intercourse with a 13-year-old boy.<\/p>\n

The incident occurred on Tuesday at the minor\u2019s parents\u2019 home in Houghton Park, Harare.<\/p>\n

The boy\u2019s mother was reported to have returned home and caught the boy and the woman in the act.<\/p>\n

Police spokesperson Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi said investigations into the case have begun and more details will be revealed in due course. Said Nyathi:<\/p>\n

The Zimbabwe Republic Police would like to confirm the arrest of a woman alleged to have been caught having sex with a minor in Houghton Park.<\/p>\n

Investigations with a view to getting to the bottom of the case have since begun and details will be released in due course.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the woman claimed innocence, telling H-Metro that the boy was the one who phoned her for sex at his parents\u2019 house. She said:<\/p>\n

Chandatadza chii inini ndaita zvekudaidzwa ndazoziva sei pamba pake dai asina kundifonera (what wong have I done? He is the one who called me, otherwise would I have come to his place?)<\/p>\n

We had protected sex and I do not see any reason why I can be treated like a thief or robber.<\/p>\n
