Africa-Press<\/a> – Zimbabwe<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>The Warriors technical has added the duo of Sudan-based Last Jesi and Simba SC\u2019s Perfect Chikwende in the provisional Warriors squad for this month\u2019s AFCON qualifiers against Botswana and Zambia.<\/p>\n

Warriors coach Zdravko Logarusic was recently reported saying he would not make any new additions to the provisional squad.<\/p>\n

However, the unavailability of several players who were called up due to injury or coronavirus-related travel restrictions may have forced his hand.<\/p>\n

Among the key Warriors players who will miss the two games are Marvelous Nakamba, Tino Kadewere, David Moyo and Khama Billiat.<\/p>\n

The locally-based Warriors stars named in the provisional squad are expected to start trooping into camp on Friday.<\/p>\n

Zimbabwe travel to Botswana for a date with the Zebras on March 25 before hosting Chipolopolo at the giant National Sports Stadium four days later (29 March).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
