Africa-Press<\/a> – Zimbabwe<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>The government is reportedly planning to roll out an electronic learning (e-learning) national strategy to help learners as they were disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic, Newsday reports.<\/p>\n

The matter came to light during a post-cabinet briefing when Minister if Information Monica Mutsvangwa said:<\/p>\n

The national e-learning strategy for schools is part of the SMART Zimbabwe 2030 master plan, which is programme 15 of the Cabinet-approved government priority programmes on innovation<\/p>\n

Mutsvangwa reportedly said all schools must have a computer laboratory with the following for the strategy to be rolled out successfully.<\/p>\n

The government did not say much about rural schools that still have no proper classrooms blocks and poor access to the internet and struggling to get resources to fund their basic budgetary needs.<\/p>\n
