Africa-Press<\/a> – Zimbabwe<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has announced the arrest of Tawanda Kasinga who is the suspected killer of a 15-year-old Hurungwe girl on 7 February this year.<\/b><\/p>\n

ZRP PRESS STATEMENT 12 MARCH 2021 ARREST OF A MURDER SUSPECT IN HURUNGWE The Zimbabwe Republic Police confirms the arrest of Tawanda Kasinga (26) of Nyamupfukudza Village 2, Chief Dendera, Hurungwe in connection with a suspected murder case of a female juvenile (15) which occurred on 07 February 2021.<\/p>\n

On the date mentioned, the victim was sent to Dote Business Centre, Hurungwe to buy some groceries and she did not return home. A search ensued and she was found dead in a bush near the Shopping Centre.<\/p>\n

Police investigations led to the arrest of the suspect from his hideout in Banket on 08th March 2021 and the recovery of some grocery items which were last seen being carried by the victim. The suspect had also given part of the stolen goods In the form of body creams to his relatives. It was also established that, the suspect was on the Police wanted persons list for robbery and theft cases which occurred in Magunje.<\/p>\n

We applaud members of the public for being observant and supplying vital information which assisted the Police in this arrest.<\/p>\n
