Africa-Press<\/a> – Zimbabwe<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>Several prominent Zimbabweans have aired their opinions on the recall from Parliament of Harare East legislator and MDC Alliance vice president Tendai Biti, among other People\u2019s Democratic Party (PDP) parliamentarians.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday, the Speaker of the National Assembly Jacob Mudenda said he had received notice from the PDP recalling Biti and several other opposition lawmakers.<\/p>\n

The regime has once again abused the Constitution to expel @mdczimbabwe MPs, including former Finance Minister & current MDC Alliance Vice President @BitiTendai Speaker of @ParliamentZim Jacob Mudenda read a notice from one Benjamin Rukanda who claims to be acting for PDP.<\/p>\n

This is another example of the absurdity of the interpretation of the procedure for expelling MPs. It assumes that every \u201cnotice\u201d sent to the Speaker is valid. Mudenda just reads what he has been given & that\u2019s the end of it for the MP, even if it\u2019s been written by an idiot.<\/p>\n

The Mnangagwa regime wants to be taken seriously but it continues to behave like a banana republic. It\u2019s bid to create a one-party regime where all decent opponents are obliterated continues without abatement. It\u2019s really beyond the pale.<\/p>\n

Zimbabwe is experiencing state capture never seen since Rhodes. These recalls of elected MPs by ZANU PF surrogates supported by state institutions like courts and Parliament exposes the rot in ED regime.<\/p>\n

If there was ever any doubt the ZANUPF regime is determined to silence those exposing corruption, that is removed by the illegal removal from Parliament of @BitiTendai and several other outstanding MPs. Democracy is well & truly dead in #Zimbabwe . This is now a rogue regime.<\/p>\n

The LOOTERS, Thieves, Plunderers, Crooks will ALL celebrate if @BitiTendai is removed from parliament! He was exposing the looting of public funds and in the process taught the citizens about the authors of their suffering! That is why they want him out of parliament!<\/p>\n
