We present the advert below.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority (ZERA) is a statutory body mandated to ensure the provision of a level playing field for safe, reliable and sustainable energy supply through effective regulation. ZERA seeks the services of a highly competent, professional and results-oriented individual who is able to take the organisation to a higher level in the following role:<\/p>\n<p><b>Financial Analyst.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Reporting directly to the Senior Manager Economic Regulation, the Key Job Functions of this position will be:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Data collection, computation and review of petroleum prices in line with the fuel pricing regulations.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Analysis and benchmarking of petroleum sector pricing principles.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Analysis of financial performance of licenced energy companies.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Review of electricity tariff applications from the utility.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Review and recommend tariffs for independent power producers.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Advise on appropriate methods and tools for determination of tariffs.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Analyse financial data and develop key performance indicators.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Maintain database for energy sector price reviews.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Advise on necessary and appropriate tools for energy pricing. Key Job Requirements: The successful candidate for this position should meet the following criteria: \u2022 Accounting\/Finance Degree (Four Years)\/Commercial degree.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Professional Qualification e.g. LIMA, ACCA.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 5 years\u2019 experience in financial analysis and pricing preferably in the energy sector.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Analytical skills.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022Numerical aptitude.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Attention to detail.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Ability to work under pressure.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Strategic thinking.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Effective communication, diplomacy and advocacy skills.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Integrity and accountability.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Results-focused and able to lead, engage and transform.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Appreciation of the Energy sector.
