The central objective must always be to save lives &amp; mitigate suffering.<\/p>\n<p>As we\u2019ve highlighted time and again, we support the roll out of a widespread vaccination drive in the fight against Covid19. However, we have reservations around the efficacy and safety of the vaccines that have been rolled out thus far.<\/p>\n<p>President Chamisa will respond to a vaccination drive that is safe &amp; good for the citizens. President Chamisa has not been invited to the event in Victoria Falls.<\/p>\n<p>.However, our position is that any vaccination drive must prioritize frontline healthworkers &amp; the vulnerable before being accessed by politicians in the interests of public health &amp; putting the people we are called to serve first.<\/p>\n<p>This was after it emerged that President Mnangagwa will be vaccinated at an event to be held in Victoria Falls on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>Zimbabwe took delivery of a total of 600 000 doses of Sinovac and Sinopharm from China over the past month.
