Africa-Press<\/a> – Zimbabwe<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>Middle East airline Emirates (Fly Emirates) has announced that they will resume Harare \u2013 Lusaka flights and later on in June increase their weekly flights to 5 from 4, The Herald reports.<\/p>\n

This was revealed by Nasser Bahlooq, Emirates country manager for Zimbabwe who said their decision to increase flights to Zimbabwe was informed by increased demand on the route. Said Bahlooq:<\/p>\n

We have seen a marked increase in passenger demand to and from Harare, especially to popular tourism and business hubs like Dubai. We hope that by increasing our frequency, we are able to facilitate even more tourism and business traffic as Zimbabwe continues its recovery<\/p>\n

The increase of our flights to Harare, which are currently linked to Lusaka, is a testament to our commitment to Zimbabwe. We have been operating flights for over nine years, connecting Zimbabweans to the world and offering a world-class experience onboard, whilst prioritising the health and safety of our customers.<\/p>\n

Emirates will also, starting next week, change their flying schedules to Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, a Saturday Flight will be added on 5 June according to the publication. Emirates announced they were temporarily suspending flights to ZImbabwe for close to 6 weeks in January.<\/p>\n
