Africa-Press<\/a> – Zimbabwe<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>Warriors coach Zdravko Logarusic will tonight hand Spain-based goalkeeper Martin Mapisa his senior debut in the final 2021 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against Zambia.<\/p>\n

Mapisa (22), plays for Zamora FC and has previously played for the national Under-23 side, the Young Warriors.<\/p>\n

He sat out the last match against Botswana which the Warriors 1-0 won to secure a third successive AFCON finals appearance, due to inconclusive COVID-19 results.<\/p>\n

Logarusic has made eight changes to the team that played against Botswana on Thursday, with only wingbacks Takudzwa Chimwemwe and Onismor Bhasera as well as Ovidy Karuru retaining their places.<\/p>\n

Here is the Warriors starting XI against Zambia:<\/b><\/p>\n

Martin Mapisa, Takudzwa Chimwemwe, Onismor Bhasera, Alec Mudimu, Victor Kamhuka, Butholezwe Ncube, Romario Matova, Ovidy Karuru, Last Jesi, Tafadzwa Rusike, Evans Rusike.<\/b><\/p>\n

The match will be played at the National Sports Stadium in Harare.<\/p>\n
