When the economy has dollarized with fuel, toll gates, passports being charged in US$, it is not only illogical but outrightly cruel to pay civil service salaries in worthless RTGS!! Pay decent wages! Maintain people\u2019s right to dignity @ZctuZimbabwe.<\/p>\n<p>Workers are demanding that the government restores their 2018 salaries when the majority of workers earned about USD500.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the state\u2019s offer to gradually raise the salaries was rejected when the employer met with workers\u2019 representatives recently.<\/p>\n<p>The government also said it will strictly monitor workers\u2019 attendance at work after reports that some teachers are already reporting for work only three days out of five per week.<\/p>\n<p><b>More: Pindula News<\/b><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Africa-Press &#8211; Zimbabwe.
