Africa-Press<\/a> – Zimbabwe<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>Dynamos have suspended goalkeepers\u2019 coach Gift Muzadzi while first-choice goalkeeper Simbarashe Chinani has been shown the exit door.<\/p>\n

Dynamos marketing and communications manager Yvonne Mangunda confirmed the suspension of Muzadzi to Daily News and the release of Chinani but declined to shed more light. Said Mangunda:<\/p>\n

Chinani did not have a contract with Dynamos since 2020 because he indicated his plans and the club respected that. We then decided not to offer him a contract.<\/p>\n

Muzadzi has been suspended and internal disciplinary processes are ongoing.<\/p>\n

Reports suggest that DeMbare are yet to tie down their senior players like skipper Partson Jaure, Godknows Murwira and King Nadolo to fresh contracts.<\/p>\n

The Glamour Boys have already lost influential defender Byron Madzokere, who is reportedly close to signing for ZPC Kariba.<\/p>\n

Madzokere\u2019s one-year contract had expired and Dynamos and the player could not agree on the terms of a new contract.<\/p>\n

reports a source as saying Muzadzi and Chinani were pulled aside during training at Prince Edward School and handed their letters by the club hierarchy. The source said:<\/p>\n

From the look of things though, it appears the executive was not pleased with some of Muzadzi\u2019s comments to the club\u2019s board chairperson (Bernard) Marriot when he went to see him over the issue of out-of-contract players \u2014 Chinani, Jaure, Murwira and Nadolo.<\/p>\n

These players are out of contract and the executive took a strange decision not to pay players signing-on fees for the upcoming season.<\/p>\n

So, these players are trying to negotiate, saying they should at least get something rather than just signing a new contract.<\/p>\n

It appears the executive was not amused with Muzadzi\u2019s conduct on the issue. Regarding Chinani, the executive was miffed when he went for trials in Russia and South Africa.<\/p>\n

He was out of contract and the feeling is that he wanted to leave for free so they are not happy with him.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
