Africa-Press<\/a> – Zimbabwe<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>Warriors and Aston Villa midfielder Marvelous Nakamba has confirmed meeting the country\u2019s Presidential Envoy and Ambassador at Large to the Americas and Europe, Uebert Angel on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Nakamba said he met Angel at the latter\u2019s residence in the United Kingdom where they discussed investment opportunities in Zimbabwe. Nakamba tweeted:<\/p>\n

[I] had a successful meeting with Uebert Angel at the Angel Manor. During the meeting, we discussed the [] opportunities of investing in Zimbabwe and I\u2019m looking forward to these opportunities.<\/p>\n

Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services, Nick Mangwana hailed Nakamba and Angel\u2019s meeting, saying \u201cthat\u2019s what patriots do\u201d.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, pro-democracy campaigner Pedzisai Ruhanya warned Nakamba against associating with fake prophets and focus on his career. Said Ruhanya:<\/p>\n

On Wednesday Angel revealed that he had a meeting with Nakamba at his residence. He posted on social media:<\/p>\n

At my residence, The Angel Manor, here in [the UK] with Marvelous Nakamba @nakamba_marvelous discussing opportunities in our beloved country, Zimbabwe. Exceptional meeting we had and what I can say about Nakamba is \u201cWhat a humble and knowledgeable Zimbabwean he is\u201d.<\/p>\n

He is raising our flag up high. I am also encouraged to note that there are a lot of well-meaning Zimbabweans in the diaspora with a strong desire to see Zim rise to the level of upper-middle-income economy status by 2030.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
