The provisional Warriors squad for the 2019 Afcon qualifier against Congo next month is expected to be announced this week.<\/p>\n
The Sunday Chidzambwa\u2019s charges take on the Central Africans at National Sports Stadium in Harare on 22 March.<\/p>\n
According to H-Metro, team manager Wellington Mpandare said they will finalise the selection today.<\/p>\n
He said: \u201cWe will announce the team this week, we are to finalise it tomorrow (today).<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are hoping to bring one or two players, Kelly Lunga and Macauley Bonne, and certainly we are going to drop some players from the previous squad.\u201d<\/p>\n
Mpandare has also revealed that the bulk of targeted foreign-born players will be drafted in the national U23 team which will also be in action in the same week when they play in back-to-back Afcon qualifiers against Mozambique.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
