TEHRAN (FNA)- Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qassemi offered sympathy to the Zimbabwean people and government after a mining incident claimed the lives of scores of people in the African country.<\/div>\n

Qassemi expressed his deep regret, and sympathized with the bereaved families of the victims of the miners, Zimbabwean government and people over the sad incident in Battlefields Mine.<\/p>\n

According to Western media, the accident with about 70 miners involved happened on Tuesday night.<\/p>\n

‘Battlefields’ is a small settlement in Mashonaland West province in Zimbabwe. It is located off the main road from Harare to Bulawayo between Kadoma and Kwekwe.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
