Africa-Press<\/a> – Zimbabwe<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>DStv premiership champions Mamelodi Sundowns are reportedly interested in luring SuperSport United winger Kudakwashe Mahachi back to the club ahead of next season.<\/p>\n

Mahachi (27), joined Sundowns from Highlanders back in 2014 with a reputation as one of Zimbabwe\u2019s brightest prospects but failed to establish himself at the club.<\/p>\n

However, now with six seasons in the DStv Premiership under his belt, more consistent displays and several dynamic performances at left-back \u2013 Mahachi has now caught the eye of his former club. A source told KickOff.com:<\/p>\n

Manqoba [Mngqithi] worked with the boy before he left the club for Golden Arrows, they know of his talent and they\u2019ve shown in the past of signing attacking wingers for full-back positions.<\/p>\n

Sundowns want him back as a natural left-winger and a left-back option and there\u2019s plenty of players who will be moving on as they want to freshen up the squad.<\/p>\n

Sundowns\u2019 interest in Mahachi is said to have intensified after the club\u2019s reported deal with Divine Lunga stalled over Arrows\u2019 asking price for the Zimbabwe left-back.<\/p>\n

Mahachi has amassed 145 appearances in the South African top-flight, scoring 20 goals, whilst registering 18 assists.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
