Africa-Press<\/a> – Zimbabwe<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>Warriors coach Zdravko Logarusic says he is happy with his charges\u2019 performance in a 2-0 loss to Namibia in the COSAFA Cup Group B match played on Sunday afternoon at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.<\/p>\n

Zimbabwe were undone by Qadr Amini\u2019s own goal and Elmo Kambinda\u2019s late effort.<\/p>\n

This was the Warriors\u2019 first loss at the COSAFA tournament after drawing their first two games in the group, against Mozambique and Malawi on Wednesday and Friday respectively.<\/p>\n

Speaking after the match, Logarusic admitted they couldn\u2019t capitalise on their dominance but expressed satisfaction with the Warriors\u2019 overall performance. He said:<\/p>\n

We didn\u2019t use our dominance to score goals and individual mistakes at the back saw us conceding twice.<\/p>\n

However, I\u2019m happy with the things I saw in the game. Most of my players are still young, and it (the experience) is good for them.<\/p>\n

We continue fighting and hope some results will go in our favour. Maybe in the last game (against Senegal), something will happen.<\/p>\n

We can still fight for the second position. This is Africa, and any team can win, so let us see how things will go.<\/p>\n

The Warriors will face Senegal in a must-win encounter on Tuesday. The kick-off time is at 12 pm.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
