Africa-Press<\/a> – Zimbabwe<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>Acting District Coordinating Committee (DCC) chairperson for Zaka is reportedly under probe for alleged abuse of Drought Relief Funds.<\/p>\n

Ms Memory Dhliwayo is also accused of overclaiming travel and subsistence (T&S) allowance same days tallying with those as claimed at social welfare.<\/p>\n

The Acting DCC is also believed to have made some aspiring village heads give her money under the guise of fuel to visit their places but would pocket the money then use fuel from the office.<\/p>\n

Pindula News got in touch with Dhliwayo who said she was not authorised to speak to the media. She said:<\/p>\n

Isu zvedu mashandiro atinoita hatibvumidzwe kutaura neMedia. Tinotaura kuMedia through our PDC vaSakupwanya. [We are not allowed to speak to the meadia. We talk to the media through our PDC (Provincial Development Coordinator (PDC) Dr Jefter Sakupwanya.]<\/p>\n

Dr Sakupwanya\u2019s phone was not reachable when we called him countless times.<\/p>\n

It is reported that police officers from Masvingo\u2019s Criminal Investigation Department (CID) conducted some investigations back in May but the results of that probe are still unknown.<\/p>\n

A source who spoke to Pindula News on condition of anonymity said:<\/p>\n

The CID from Masvingo only came and tried to find out some time in May and up to now, they have not yet made any arrests.<\/p>\n

Ms Memory Dhliwayo is Chiredzi\u2019s former Acting District Administrator.<\/p>\n
