Messages circulating on social media on fuel price hikes are malicious and meant to cause alarm and despondency.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>On January 12 President Emmerson Mnangagwa announced a 150 per cent fuel price hike. The move resulted in unprecedented nationwide riots resulting in the death of at least people as security forces moved in to restore order.
