Africa-Press<\/a> – Zimbabwe<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>Zimbabwean referee Brighton Chimene and his assistants have been selected to officiate the Orlando Pirates\u2019 CAF Champions League football match in Johannesburg on Sunday.<\/p>\n

The Buccaneers host Congo side Diables Noirs de Brazzaville at Orlando Stadium.<\/p>\n

He will be assisted by Tafadzwa Nkala and Edgar Rumeck. Lawrence Zimondi is the fourth official.<\/p>\n

Chimene has handled matches in the World Cup qualifiers as well as the Champions League qualifiers since the international calendar got underway.<\/p>\n

Zimbabwean referees have been inactive for the greater part of 2020 and 2021 as a result of the suspension of football and they have been working harder to ensure good condition and physical fitness with individual training programmes.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
