Ngezi Platinum Stars are facing a heavy PSL sanction after it has emerged that they travelled to South Africa without a clearance from the League.<\/p>\n
PSL wrote to Ngezi on February 22 informing them that the League was not in a position to clear the trip to South Africa as it came at short notice. Madamburo, however, defied the directive and embarked on the two-week tour which the local governing body has since classified it as an \u201cunsanctioned\u201d foreign trip.<\/p>\n
Premier Soccer League spokesperson Kudzai Bare has told the Sunday Mail that the league is looking into the matter and will only issue a statement when the team returns in the coming days.<\/p>\n

On the flip side, Ngezi Platinum have distanced themselves from any wrongdoing saying they, instead, got the clearance letter from the supreme body, the Sports and Recreation Commission.<\/p>\n
