Africa-Press – Zimbabwe. <\/strong><\/span>English League One club Plymouth Argyle have pledged to \u201clook after\u201d Zimbabwe international defender Brendan Galloway who suffered a serious knee injury on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

The 25-year-old former Everton defender is out of contract in January, having joined the club from Luton on a short-term deal in July.<\/p>\n

Plymouth Argyle manager Ryan Lowe revealed that Galloway will be out for a long spell after he dislocated a kneecap in the club\u2019s 3-0 loss to Wycombe Wanderers. Said Lowe:<\/p>\n

We were in contract negotiations with Brendan and they were going very smoothly.<\/p>\n

But what we\u2019ve got to do now is as a football club we\u2019ll morally look after Brendan and he will have a future at Argyle and we will give him the best opportunity to get back fit and firing because I think he deserves it.<\/p>\n

Whatever he has to do, whether it\u2019s surgery or recovery, we\u2019ll get him back to where we feel he belongs, which is playing football.<\/p>\n

He was low a bit yesterday. We\u2019ll try and pick up his spirits and we\u2019ve said \u2018Don\u2019t worry, your future\u2019s fine\u2019, which I\u2019m sure gave him a smile and he\u2019s a little bit relieved with that.<\/p>\n

The latest injury means the left-back misses the Africa Cup of Nations finals where the Warriors have been drawn against Senegal, Guinea and Malawi in January.<\/p>\n
