Africa-Press – Zimbabwe. <\/strong><\/span>A Masvingo traditional leader, Chief Murinye threw the cat among the pigeons over the weekend when he criticised President Emmerson Mnangagwa for failing to deal with corrupt government officials.<\/p>\n

Speaking at a funeral in Masvingo, Murinye warned that Mnangagwa risked losing the 2023 presidential elections or being overthrown in a coup if he failed to rein in on his corrupt subordinates.<\/p>\n

But Addressing chiefs at the annual Chiefs\u2019 Conference held in Harare on Friday, Chiwenga said Chief Murinye will face disciplinary action for his utterances. Listen to Chiwenga in the audio below:<\/p>\n
