Dynamos chairman Isaiah Mupfurutsa reckons that the club is Zimbabwe\u2019s \u2018special\u2019 side which set trends for other teams.<\/p>\n
The Dembare boss said this on Wednesday at the unveiling ceremony of their new sponsor, Gold Leaf Tobacco who gave them a RTGS $1 million sponsorship. The club also unveiled their 2019 squad.<\/p>\n
\u201cDynamos is a special club because it sets records in the country. Our 20 year record of having reached the African champions league and as well the 10 years of having reached the semi finals is still to be matched,\u201d said Mupfurutsa.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe have set records with the most titles won in the domestic league and with the coming in of our new sponsor, I believe that glory days are beckoning for Dynamos. Gone are the days of strikes by players over salaries as all the sign own fees have been met and everything is settled.<\/p>\n
Mupfurutsa also revealed that they are making efforts to clear the huge debt which has haunted the club in the recent years.<\/p>\n
