Africa-Press – Zimbabwe. <\/strong><\/span>Johnson Mutodi, the father of the former Deputy Information Minister, Energy Mutodi, has died aged 92.<\/p>\n

Mutodi said his father passed away on Wednesday morning at Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals where he was receiving medical care.<\/p>\n

The Goromonzi South MP said Mr Johnson Mutodi succumbed to \u201ccomplications associated with old age.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mourners are gathered at 4779 Crawhill Views in Borrowdale, Harare. Mutodi said in a tweet:<\/p>\n

Hon Dr Energy Mutodi\u2019s father Mr Johnson Mutodi is no more. Mr Johnson Mutodi (92) passed on this morning at Parirenyatwa Hospital due to complications associated with old age. Mourners are gathered at 4779 Crawhill Views, Borrowdale.<\/p>\n

Harare lawyer, Thabani Mpofu, wrote, \u201cDeepest condolences mkoma\u201d.<\/p>\n

Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) deputy president Tendai Biti tweeted, \u201cExtremely sorry for your loss, Citizen Mutodi . May his soul Rest In Peace.\u201d<\/p>\n

Journalist Mduduzi Mathuthu said, \u201cMy condolences chief. He ran his race, over to you\u201d.<\/p>\n
