Kaizer Chiefs coach Ernst Middendorp has reportedly identified a replacement for Willard Katsande.<\/p>\n
The midfielder has fallen out favour since the arrival of the German tactician in December. He has been making cameo appearances of late and last started in the first XI at the end of January against Cape Town City.<\/p>\n
He returned to the squad and featured in the last game versus Maritzburg United after spending three games watching from the stands.<\/p>\n
\u201cMiddendorp is not a fan of Katsande\u2019s style of play,\u201d a source at the club told The Citizen newspaper. \u201cHe believes that he gives away far too much possession.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cHe wants someone like (Hlompho) Kekana of Sundowns, someone who can turn defence into attack with accurate passes and Katsande is not good at passing long balls.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is the reason why (George) Maluleka has been used in Katsande\u2019s position in recent matches.\u201d<\/p>\n
