{"id":56204,"date":"2022-03-19T21:02:49","date_gmt":"2022-03-19T19:02:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/zimbabwe\/?p=56204"},"modified":"2022-03-19T20:11:59","modified_gmt":"2022-03-19T18:11:59","slug":"city-of-bulawayo-adjusts-parking-fees","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.cc\/zimbabwe\/all-news\/city-of-bulawayo-adjusts-parking-fees","title":{"rendered":"City Of Bulawayo Adjusts Parking Fees"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600\"><strong>Africa-Press &#8211; Zimbabwe. <\/strong><\/span>The Bulawayo City Council (BCC) has reduced its \u201cexorbitant\u201d parking fees following complaints from motorists and the public.<\/p>\n<p>The City of Bulawayo, in partnership with Tendy Three Investments, recently introduced a new parking system where motorists were asked to pay US$1 for a 30-minute prime parking spot and US$1 for an hour parking spot in other zones.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement released on Friday late afternoon, Bulawayo Town Clerk, Christopher Dube, said that with effect from Monday 21 March 2022, the Central Business District has been designated into a single US$1 for 1-hour fee zone.<\/p>\n<p>This means that the US$1 for 30 minutes fee for a prime parking spot has been scrapped.
