Africa-Press – Zimbabwe. <\/strong><\/span>Police arrested a man in connection with the recent multiple murders in Khayelitsha, Cape Town.<\/p>\n

A tracing operation led police to a home in Khayelitsha – and, on Monday evening, organised crime detectives took the man into custody.<\/p>\n

“The suspect, will be facing murder charges linked to an incident where five people were shot and killed in New Monwabisi Park in Endlovini,” said police spokesperson Brigadier Novelwa Potelwa.<\/p>\n

He is expected to appear in the Khayelitsha Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

As part of the ongoing investigations into the murders, police are hot on the heels of others allegedly linked to the incident in the early hours of Monday, 14 March.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, in a separate investigation, Thando Shuba, 35, appeared in the Khayelitsha Magistrate’s Court following his arrest for the incident in which six people were shot and killed in Enkanini on 20 March.<\/p>\n
