Africa-Press – Zimbabwe. <\/strong><\/span>Veteran football commentator Charles Mabika believes Dynamos will beat Highlanders in the 2022 edition of the Independence Day Cup final.<\/p>\n

The country\u2019s two biggest football clubs clash at Barbourfields Stadium in Bulawayo on Independence Day on Monday.<\/p>\n

Speaking to Nehanda Radio, Mabika said DeMbare will successfully defend their title given their current good run of form. He said:<\/p>\n

I tip DeMbare to win the Independence trophy after taking a very close look at their current form.<\/p>\n

It looks like they (Dynamos) are set to win the game though we all also know cup games are never won easily.<\/p>\n

This will be the second time in 17 years the final of the Independence Cup will be played in Bulawayo.<\/p>\n

The City of Kings, which is Zimbabwe\u2019s second-largest city, last hosted the invitational tournament in 2005.<\/p>\n

The match pitted the now-defunct Motor Action and Highlanders.<\/p>\n

Bosso suffered a 2-0 defeat to Motor Action courtesy of ex-Dembare striker Edmore Mufema\u2019s brace.<\/p>\n
