Africa-Press – Zimbabwe. <\/strong><\/span>Zimbabwean international footballer Kudakwashe Mahachi blames his sisters with a close relative for his son\u2019s horrific burns.<\/p>\n

In an Asakhane Live video that has since been deleted on Facebook, Mahachi said he was not responsible for his son\u2019s injuries and dismissed claims that he could have hurt him for ritual purposes. Said Mahachi:<\/p>\n

People believe what they have read. Firstly, my son\u2019s pictures are circulating. Why are people circulating the pictures when my child is in pain?<\/p>\n

Secondly, people say I used my son for money rituals. How can I hurt my son for money rituals?<\/p>\n

This thing pains me because no one wants to hear my side of the story. My sisters, know what they did. They know what they injected my son with.<\/p>\n

My son left South Africa in one piece, he was okay and he was walking. My sisters know the doctor they used to inject my son and everything.<\/p>\n

Mahachi\u2019s sisters, Meline Mahachi and Sinikiwe Sibanda declined to comment when contacted by B-Metro.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, a close relative who spoke on condition of anonymity told the publication that Mahachi\u2019s ex-wife, Maritha Ndlovu, who is the mother of the child, is innocent. Said the relative:<\/p>\n

My brother, don\u2019t be fooled. The child was transported from South Africa like that.<\/p>\n

If the sisters are to blame then why are they not under arrest? Maritha Ndlovu did not burn her child that is why she is also free.<\/p>\n

The sisters, the grandmother and Maritha are all not under investigation because they had nothing to do with the child\u2019s burns.<\/p>\n

The relative claimed that Mahachi apparently had something to hide since his son was returned to Zimbabwe by a malayitsha. Said the relative:<\/p>\n

Mahachi instructed umalayitsha to deliver the child to his house in Cowdray Park because he didn\u2019t want anyone to know what happened to his son.<\/p>\n

It is not true that his child was with his grandmother and that the sisters knew what happened to the child.<\/p>\n

No relatives live in that house, only a caretaker and maids.<\/p>\n

The child was dumped there and relatives only knew after they were told that the child was in Cowdray Park.<\/p>\n

Maritha claims Mahachi burnt his own son when he visited him in South Africa.<\/p>\n
