Africa-Press – Zimbabwe. <\/strong><\/span>Kudakwashe Mahachi will be jobless in a few weeks\u2019 time after his club, SuperSport United, said that they will not renew his contract which expires on 30 June 2022.<\/p>\n

The Warriors striker is currently suspended by SuperSport, who have advised him to attend to the child abuse allegations he is facing and clear his name.<\/p>\n

Speaking on South African radio station Power 98.7, SuperSport United CEO Stan Matthews said the club will not renew Mahachi\u2019s contract when it expires. He said:<\/p>\n

He\u2019s been on suspension, I\u2019ve met with him personally and his lawyer, and we\u2019ve just decided that from our part as a football club this matter is a serious matter, that he needs to go and attend to and see to his family and his priorities.<\/p>\n

We suspended him from all football activities at that time, he remained suspended. His contract expires on the 30th of June, so there won\u2019t really be any further action on our part.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ve encouraged him to focus on clearing his name and making sure his child gets the best-rehabilitated care possible, given the current situation.<\/p>\n

That is something you\u2019d need to speak to Kuda about, as, from a club perspective, his contract expires at the end of the month, it won\u2019t be renewed.<\/p>\n

He remains on suspension until all these issues between himself and his personal family situation are resolved.<\/p>\n

Mahachi\u2019s ex-wife, Maritha Ndlovu accuses him of scalding their 4-year old son Diego Mahachi, with hot water when he visited him in South Africa early this year.<\/p>\n
