Africa-Press – Zimbabwe. <\/strong><\/span>The Zimbabwe Tourism Authority (ZTA) has appointed Beatrice Tonhodzayi to its board.<\/p>\n

Tonhodzayi was appointed to the ZTA Board by the Minister of Environment, Climate, Tourism and Hospitality Industry, Nqobizitha Mangaliso Ndlovu.<\/p>\n

Tonhodzayi is currently the Account Manager of the APO Group, a leading Pan-African communications consultancy and press release distribution service.<\/p>\n

She will continue to work full-time at APO Group, as well as use her experience and knowledge of the African media landscape to build upon Zimbabwe\u2019s reputation as an attractive tourist destination.<\/p>\n

Other members of the ZTA Board include Precious Munzara, a lecturer at Zimbabwe\u2019s Midlands State University, and Ray Mawerera, a Marketing and PR expert who is the former President of the Zimbabwe Institute of Public Relations.<\/p>\n

Tonhodzayi said she relishes her new challenge and pledged to bring her experience to support tourism in Zimbabwe. She said:<\/p>\n

In the last year working with APO Group, I have relished the opportunity to build greater relationships with African media \u2013 both in Zimbabwe and beyond.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m really excited to be able to bring some of that experience to support tourism in my home country.<\/p>\n

The Zimbabwe Tourism Authority is doing fantastic work in branding Zimbabwe as a leading tourist destination in Africa, and it is wonderful to be a part of that mission.<\/p>\n
